A blog about blogging.  He raises interesting points.

Here’s an NPR education feed with news stories about education.

Bill Moyers asks some serious questions.  I enjoy his show and sometimes read viewer responses.

This week I learned about RSS feeds. I  have often wanted to subscribe personally to a blog but didn’t want to have to visit it every day (think FaceBook!).  Now that I can get RSS feeds, I’m afraid I will oversubscribe.  I am a podcast junkie so the RSS feeds will be my  “visual podcasts”.
I used Google Reader since I’m already a gmail user, but the others have more bells and whistles.
The tool was interesting but I have not yet figured out an application for my current class blogs.  In the meantime, I will tuck away the information for future ideas.
Here’s a question.  No matter what I do, the italics won’t come off this post.  Hmmm….

Here We Go!

Welcome to my blog!  I am a math teacher teaching very intelligent middle schoolers who could create this blog in a heartbeat without taking a class.  My students have been blogging for three years on math blogs I require in class.  Check them out under Links.

I’m hoping to learn new ways to expand my blogs by adding instructional video and other items for my students to respond to.  I’ll document some ideas in this blog so I’ll have a record of successes and “challenges” along the way.
